Alpha Boilers

We are located on the first floor of Plot 65, right on the 3rd Main Road in Porur Garden. This is Phase 2 of the area. Being on the first floor makes it a bit of a challenge when we have to move heavy parts around, but we manage. We work on boilers and things like that. It is a lot of metalwork and pipes. Most people in Porur know the area is growing fast, but our corner stays pretty much the same. We spend a lot of time looking at valves and gauges. It’s dirty work sometimes, with grease and bits of metal everywhere, but someone has to do it. We don't have a receptionist or a big lobby. You just walk up the stairs and we are usually there near the workbenches. The air can get a bit stuffy in the afternoons, especially when we are testing something. We’ve had this space for a while and the shelves are crammed with spare parts we’ve collected over the years. Some days are slow, just doing maintenance or answering the phone, and other days everyone needs something fixed at the same time. We just take it as it comes. It's an honest living. We try to keep the coffee pot full because the mornings start pretty early here. Usually, we are wrapping up when the sun starts going down over the garden area.
