You will find us out in Thirumazhisai, at DP No 33 in the SIDCO Industrial Area. It is a bit of a drive from the main city center, but it is a good place for a forging unit like ours. The sound of the heavy hammers is the first thing you notice when you get anywhere near our plot. It is heavy, hot work and it is definitely not for everyone. We spend the whole day working with glowing hot steel and large presses. The entire floor vibrates when the machines are running at full power. We have been here in the Thiruvallur district for a while now. Most of the guys on the floor have been doing this kind of work for years and they really know the rhythm of the forge. It is a lot of sweat and hard physical labor. We do not have a fancy showroom or a polished front office for visitors. When people come to see us about an order, they usually end up standing right on the factory floor near the heat. We just focus on getting the metal shapes right and making sure the steel is treated properly. It is a gritty environment, but we take a certain amount of pride in the physical work we do. The SIDCO area is full of businesses like ours, so we feel right at home. We just keep our heads down and get it done.
