We are located right near the Valanjavattom East Post Office. It’s a convenient landmark because everyone knows where the post office is. Our setup here is pretty straightforward. We focus on health-related needs for the community. It’s mostly about being available when people have questions or need specific supplies. The building is an older one, but it stays cool inside even when the sun is beating down outside. We spend our mornings checking the mail and organizing the shelves. There’s always something that needs to be restocked or moved around. We aren't into big advertising or flashy signs. Most people find us because they live nearby or they were heading to the post office anyway. The staff here is small, just a few of us who have lived in the area for years. We like the pace of life in Valanjavattom East. It isn't as hectic as the city center, which allows us to take our time with folks who walk through the door. Sometimes we just sit and have a chat about the weather or the local news. It’s more of a community spot than a cold office. We keep our records in big binders and try to keep the desk clear, though it usually ends up covered in notes. Most days we close up right on time to get home for dinner, but if someone is in a real hurry, we don't mind staying a few minutes extra to help them out.
