Our spot is right near the HP pump in Thalakadathur, over in Tirur. Being in the Malappuram district, we see all kinds of weather and road conditions, which keeps us pretty busy. Relax Crane & Recovery Service is the name we go by, but it’s really just a few of us making sure we can help out when someone’s in a bit of a mess on the road. The location near the gas station is handy because everyone knows where that is. We spend a lot of time waiting for the phone to ring or out on the shoulder of a highway somewhere. It’s not the kind of job where you wear a clean shirt for long. We’re usually covered in a bit of grease or dust from the road. We don’t have a big fancy waiting room or anything like that. If you come by, you’ll probably find us checking the cables or just grabbing a tea nearby. Tirur is a good place to be based, even if the traffic can be a nightmare sometimes. We don’t put much stock in flashy advertisements or big promises. We just know how to handle the cranes and the recovery trucks. It is honest work, and it can be tiring, but it’s what we know. We just focus on getting the vehicles moved and keeping things safe for everyone involved on the road. We stay ready for whatever the next call brings our way.
