Infotics Solutions

The office for Infotics Solutions is tucked away in Vailathur, over in Malappuram. It is a quiet enough area most of the time, which is good when you are trying to concentrate on technical stuff. We have a few desks and computers that are usually running some kind of test or another. Most of our day is spent typing away or trying to find a bug in some code that shouldn’t be there. It gets a bit repetitive, but it’s what we do. Malappuram has its own pace, and we try to stick to it. Sometimes the power goes out and we all just sit there for a minute waiting for the generator to kick in. It’s those little things that remind you where you are. We aren't a huge corporation with thousands of employees. It’s just a small group of us who know how to handle software and digital problems. People from around the neighborhood sometimes come in asking if we can fix their phones or printers, even though that isn't really our main thing, but we try to help out if we can. The rain during the monsoon season can be really heavy here, and the sound on the roof makes it hard to hear each other talk. We just keep our heads down and get the work done. It’s a decent way to make a living and the commute isn't too bad.
