A M S Rice Products

Being located at 12 Moonniyur South in Tirur means we are right in the middle of things here. A M S Rice Products has been around for a bit and we just go about our business day by day. It’s a local operation and you can usually find one of us standing near the front or back by the loading area. The weather in Tirur can be a bit much during the summer months but the work doesn't stop for that. We handle a lot of different rice products and the bags are heavy so everyone stays in decent shape just by working here. It’s not like those big corporate offices you see on TV where everything is white and clean. We have real dirt and real noise and real people doing the heavy lifting. I usually get here early before the sun gets too high to start moving the stock around. Sometimes the neighbors stop by to chat or ask about prices and we just talk like normal people do. There’s no big secret to how we run things. We just show up and do the work that needs doing. Sometimes the machinery acts up and we have to spend the afternoon fixing a motor or a belt which is frustrating but that’s just life in a mill. It’s a honest way to spend the day and we’ve been doing it this way for quite a while now.
