You can find us at Shop No. 23 inside the Cotton Market Complex. We are right on Palladam Road, which is a very busy stretch of road. The market is always crowded with people coming and going, especially in the mornings when everything is being unloaded. Our shop isn't very large, but we pack it full of electrical and electronic items. From wires to switches and various small parts, we try to keep what people usually ask for. It gets a bit cramped when we have a few customers inside at the same time. The air in the complex always smells a bit like dust and commerce. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who know where everything is kept on the high shelves. We use a tall ladder to reach the boxes near the ceiling. Sometimes the power goes out in the market, but we just keep a torch handy and wait for it to come back. It’s a typical market life. We talk to the neighboring shopkeepers and watch the traffic move along Palladam Road. We don't have any fancy displays or bright neon signs. People know us by the sign over the door and the fact that we've been in Shop 23 for a while. It’s a simple business, selling things that people need for their homes or repairs. We just try to keep the shelves stocked.
