Suriya Earth Movers

Suriya Earth Movers is based at 87, Periyar Colony in Agraharapudur. It’s a residential-looking area but we have our equipment tucked in there. The colony is usually pretty quiet, except when we start up the engines to head out to a job. We have been in Agraharapudur for a while now, and the neighbors are used to seeing the big machines moving around. Number 87 is just a plain building where we handle the calls and the maintenance. There isn't a big showroom or anything like that. It’s mostly just a yard and a small office space with a fan and some old ledgers. We spend a lot of time out on sites, so the office is often empty except for one person. Periyar Colony has some nice trees that give us a bit of shade during the hot parts of the day. We keep our tools organized in the back sheds. It’s a practical setup for the kind of work we do. If you come by, you might see some spare tires or tracks lying around. We don't worry too much about appearances, as long as the machines are running well. The street is narrow, so we have to be careful when we move the big earth movers out onto the main road. It’s a steady life here, just doing the work that needs to be done. We usually finish up and lock the gates by evening when the sun sets.
