Sri Vinayaka Blue Metals

The place is right on Kadukuttai Road in Pattanam. It is mostly just a bunch of piles of stones and blue metals out in the yard. My father started this a long time ago and now we just keep it going every day. It is pretty dusty around here especially when the trucks come in and out. We spend a lot of time just checking the loads and talking to the drivers who stop by. Pattanam is a quiet enough place but this road gets its share of traffic. Sometimes the rain makes things a bit messy in the yard but that is just how it is with this kind of work. We do not have a big office or anything fancy, just a small room where we sit and handle the paperwork. Most of the people who come here are from nearby and they know us by name. It is a simple life really. We wake up early, open the gates, and wait for the first delivery. Some days are slow and we just sit outside watching the cars go by. Other days it feels like we cannot keep up with the orders. We try to keep the stock ready so people do not have to wait too long. It has been here at 155/3 for years now. People know where to find us if they need something for their house or a small project. It is not much but it keeps us busy and pays the bills.
