Sri Ram Auto Parts

We’ve been here in Palladam for a long time now, running Sri Ram Auto Parts from this spot on Vikas R road. It isn't a huge showroom with glass walls or anything like that. Instead, it’s a practical shop where the shelves are packed from the floor to the ceiling with all sorts of bits and pieces. You’ll find fan belts hanging from hooks and boxes of spark plugs stacked up near the back. The air always smells a little bit like new rubber and motor oil, which is just part of the job. Most days, mechanics from around the 641604 area drop by because they know we usually have that one specific bolt they’re missing. Sometimes the shop gets a bit crowded and people have to wait outside on the pavement while we dig through the inventory. We use a handwritten system for a lot of our stock because it’s faster than the old computer we have in the corner. That machine takes forever to boot up anyway. When the sun gets high in the afternoon, it can get pretty warm inside, so we keep a big pedestal fan humming away. It’s a busy life here in Tamil Nadu. We don't spend much time on fancy talk. We just find the part, check if it’s the right fit, and hand it over. If we don’t have it, we tell you straight and try to get it by the next Tuesday. That's just how we do things.
