You can find us out on Dharapuram Main Road in the Angel Nagar area. It’s a bit of a distance from the middle of town, which actually makes it a decent place for a college because it’s not as noisy as the city center. We’ve been running this engineering and technology school for a while now. The campus has various blocks for different departments, and most of our time is spent making sure the labs have what they need and the classrooms are ready for the morning. It’s a straightforward kind of place. We don’t have a massive PR department or anything like that. We just focus on the day-to-day stuff that comes with running a school. The road outside gets quite busy with buses and lorries, especially during the commute hours. Most of the people working here are locals from the nearby villages and towns. We have a lot of students who stay in the hostels, so the place never really feels empty, even in the evenings. We deal with the usual problems like fixing broken desks or updating the computer lab when we can. It’s honest work, helping the younger generation get their degrees. We don’t put on a show; we just open the gates every morning and keep the place running as best as we know how. It is a big responsibility but we have a good team here that takes it one day at a time.
