Jayarathana Exports

You can find Jayarathana Exports over at No. 2/2 in Vadakuthottam. We are based in the Parappalayam area. It’s a bit of an industrial feel around here, which suits what we do. We mostly handle export goods, so there is always some kind of loading or unloading going on. The building isn't brand new, and the floor has a few cracks, but it serves its purpose. We don't have any fancy receptionists or lobby areas. When someone comes by, they usually just walk in and find whoever is available. Most of the time, that’s me or my assistant. We spend our days checking the quality of items before they get packed into boxes. It’s a lot of repetitive movement, but it has to be done right. If the weather is particularly hot, we open all the doors to get a breeze through the place. The work is mostly about logistics and making sure we have the right documents for the customs agents. We don't use any high-tech systems, just some basic computers and a lot of handwritten ledgers. Sometimes we lose a pen and have to search the whole office for it. It's just a small operation. We know the neighbors and the local tea shop guy knows our order by heart. It’s a simple life, focused on getting orders out the door without too much fuss. We just keep working until the sun goes down and start again tomorrow.
