Majestic Exports

Down at Malligai Nagar, specifically at No 9 and 10 on College Road, that is where you will find us. Majestic Exports has been in this spot for a bit. It is a lively area. You can hear the students from the nearby colleges sometimes. Most of our day is spent with boxes. We are always packing things or unpacking things. Tape guns are probably the loudest thing in the room. We check the labels a few times because nobody wants a mistake when things are going far away. The shelves are pretty high, so we are always reaching for things. Sometimes the inventory count doesn’t match and we have to count everything again. It’s annoying but it happens. We have some wooden chairs that have seen better days. The floor is concrete and gets cold in the rainy season. We try to keep a schedule, but shipments rarely arrive exactly when they say they will. You just learn to be flexible. We don't have a fancy lobby or anything like that. It’s a workspace. We have a small kettle in the corner for tea. Usually, we share some biscuits in the afternoon. It is just a group of people trying to get the orders out correctly. We focus on the items in front of us. If the box is sealed well and the address is right, we’ve done our job for the day.
