Sivalaya

Sivalaya is located out in Nochipalayam, specifically in the Pariyur Amman Nagar area of Karaipudur Village. Being here in Tirupur, we are surrounded by everything to do with cloth and sewing. Our place is near the Veerapandi Post. It’s a bit of a drive from the main city center but that’s where the work happens. We spend most of our time dealing with fabric and making sure the orders are moving along like they should. Some days are loud with the machines running and other days it’s just quiet paperwork. The heat in Tamil Nadu can get pretty intense in the afternoons, so we usually have the fans going full speed. We aren't a big flashy company, just a group of people working in a shed basically. Most of the staff are locals from the village who have been with us for years. We handle a lot of different pieces throughout the week. Sometimes things get delayed when the power goes out or a shipment of yarn is late, but we just deal with it. We’ve been at this address for quite some time now. People know us by the name on the gate. It isn't a corporate office with carpets and glass walls. It's dusty and busy. We take pride in just getting the job done properly. Every morning starts with a cup of tea and a look at the schedule. We just keep going.
