Jai Traders

Jai Traders is a small shop we run at number 3 in Gayathri Nagar. It’s a quiet enough neighborhood, and we’ve been here for a good few years now. We mostly trade in general goods that people in the area need. It’s a simple setup—a front room for customers and a back room for storing stock. We don't have a fancy display or bright lights. It’s just shelves and boxes. My brother and I take turns sitting at the counter. We start early in the morning to get everything organized before the first people show up. We get deliveries every few days, and then we have to spend time unpacking and checking everything against the invoices. It’s a lot of counting and moving boxes around. We don't do any big promotions or anything like that. People just know we are here and stop by when they’re passing through Gayathri Nagar. We try to keep a bit of everything so folks don't have to go all the way to the main market. Sometimes it’s slow, and we just sit and talk with the neighbors who drop by. It’s a very local way of doing things. We just want to keep the shop running steadily and make sure we don't run out of the basics. It’s not complicated, just a small business.
