J R International is located out in Avanashi, specifically in the Kasigoundempalayam Village. Our address is No. 430/1 C in the Rayan Kovil Colony. It’s a bit of a different vibe compared to the big city offices. Being in a village area means it’s a lot quieter, which we actually prefer for our day-to-day operations. We’ve been set up here for a good length of time. The building we work out of is pretty simple and doesn't have any big logos or fancy glass fronts. We mostly spend our time managing the international side of things, which involves a lot of paperwork and phone calls at odd hours. The colony itself is quite peaceful, though it gets a bit active when the local shifts change. We have a small group of people working here, and we’ve all grown quite close over the years. We usually share lunch together and talk about things other than just work. It makes the day go by faster. We don't have any of those corporate mission statements or anything like that. We just make sure the work is done right before we head home for the evening. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit, but we just take that as a chance to have some tea. It’s a very grounded way of running things for us.
