Birli Knitters

Birli Knitters is located right on Dharapuram Road at number 217. It’s a busy road with a lot of traffic passing by all the time, which means there’s always a bit of noise in the background. Our shop is quite simple inside. We have our knitting machines set up towards the back, and the front is usually filled with bags of yarn and finished pieces. We spend our days watching the needles go back and forth, making sure the patterns are coming out the way they should. It’s just a few of us here, and we handle everything from the knitting to the final folding. Sometimes the machines act up, and we have to spend an hour or two fixing a part, which can be frustrating but it’s part of the job. We don’t have a big sign or any bright lights. Most people just know us from being on Dharapuram Road for so long. We keep our doors open to let some air in, though the dust from the road can be a nuisance sometimes. We aren't a massive company with hundreds of employees. It’s more of a small family-run feel where we know our regulars and they know us. We just keep our heads down and focus on the work in front of us, making sure the orders are ready when they need to be.
