Anandh Cottage Industries

Anandh Cottage Industries is based at No. 21, Kattuvalavu 2nd Street in the Thennam Palayam Extension. We are a small-scale setup, which is why they call it a cottage industry. Most of what we do involves manual work and small machines. The street we are on is a regular residential and commercial mix. It’s not a big factory. We work out of a modest space where we handle various production tasks. Some days are busier than others, depending on what orders we have. We spend a lot of time on our feet, making sure everything is being put together correctly. It’s the kind of place where everyone knows each other. Thennam Palayam is a growing area, but we’ve stayed in the same spot for quite a bit. We don't have a marketing department or a sales team. It’s just us doing the work ourselves. Sometimes the materials are late or the weather makes things difficult, but we just keep going. The extension area can be a bit hard to navigate if you aren't from around here, but once you find Kattuvalavu 2nd Street, we are right there at number 21. It’s honest, simple work. We don't try to make it sound like more than it is. We just focus on our daily tasks and getting things finished on time. That is how we have always operated here.
