We are located at No. 44 Bharati Nivas, over in Sree Palaniandavar Nagar. Velampalayam is a nice place to work, even if the streets get crowded on market days. Our setup is pretty simple. It is basically just us and a few helpers working out of this space. We don’t have any big corporate signs or a fancy lobby. People usually just find us by word of mouth or if they live nearby in the colony. Most days start with opening up the shutters and checking what needs to be finished from yesterday. We handle a bit of everything here. It’s not always organized perfectly, but we know where everything is kept. The humidity can be a bit much in the afternoons, so we keep the fans running high. We’ve been in this spot for a bit now and know the people living around No. 1 15. It feels more like a neighborhood shop than a big company. Sometimes customers stop by just to chat for a minute while we work. We don’t spend money on fancy websites or brochures because we’re too busy actually doing the work. It’s a simple life, just making sure things are done right and the orders are ready when they should be. We just take it day by day and try to keep up with the repairs and the regular tasks. The doorbell rings a lot, but that is fine with us.
