Wewin Garments

Our place, Wewin Garments, is located at No. 77 in the V. I. P Garden area along Kangayam Road. If you know Nallur, you know how busy that road can get with all the trucks and bikes going past. We are right there in the middle of it. The building is simple and we use most of the space for storage and sorting through the garments. It gets quite warm in the afternoons, so we usually keep the back door open to get a bit of a breeze. We have a few tables set up where we check the stitching and fold things up. It isn't the most organized looking place if you just walk in, but we have our own system for finding stuff. Some of the labels get mixed up sometimes and we have to spend an hour fixing it, which is annoying but part of the job. Most of the people working here live nearby, so we all know the local gossip. We don't have any fancy signs or anything. We just focus on the piles of clothes that need to be sent out by the end of the week. It is a lot of repetitive work, but it keeps us moving. We try to finish up before the evening traffic on Kangayam Road gets too bad for everyone's commute home. It is a lot of work but we get through it.
