Wega Hosiery Mills

Wega Hosiery Mills has been operating out of No. 48 Venkateshwara Nagar Main Road for quite a bit of time now. This part of Kangayam Road is usually pretty noisy with all the trucks and bikes going past our front door, but we have gotten used to it. It’s just a standard place where we come in every morning to get our work done. We don't have a fancy office or any of those modern glass windows. It is mostly just a practical space filled with machines and boxes of finished goods. Some days the floor gets a bit messy when we are in the middle of a big order, but that’s just how it goes here. The building isn't much to look at from the outside, but it serves its purpose for us. We have a few long-term workers who know the routine by heart. We take our tea breaks at the small shop around the corner and talk about the local news. It’s a simple living for everyone involved. We handle the hosiery side of things and try to keep up with the schedule. If you are ever driving down Kangayam Road, you might spot our sign near the main junction. We like being in this neighborhood because it feels familiar and everything we need is close by. It’s not a complicated business model, just a regular local mill doing its thing.
