Vision Equipments

We keep all the gear and machinery at Vision Equipments in Udumalpet, right across from the fire service station and near Kollampattarai. It’s a practical space, mostly just storage and a small area to talk to people who come in. We deal with various types of equipment that people need for their jobs. I spend a lot of my day checking inventory and making sure everything is in working order. It’s not a glamorous job, but someone has to do it. The street outside can get quite loud with the trucks going by. Being opposite the fire service makes it easy to give directions to anyone looking for us. I’ve lived in Udumalpet for a long time and I know most of the people around here. We don't do a lot of fancy advertising. Most people hear about us from their friends or coworkers. When a piece of equipment breaks, it can really mess up someone’s day, so I try to get them what they need quickly. My desk is usually covered in manuals and spare parts. Sometimes it gets dusty in here, but that is just the nature of the business. We keep things simple and try to be helpful when we can. It’s just a regular local business trying to stay busy and serve the town as well as we can.
