We are located at 69 Periyathottam, which is out on Dharapuram Road near the K. N. P. Colony post office. It’s a bit of a trek from the main city center, but it’s quieter here in Chandrapuram and that suits us just fine. We have a decent-sized space where we handle all our garment work. There’s always a rhythmic clicking of machines and the sound of irons steaming. It’s a practical workspace, not a boutique. We have different sections for cutting the fabric and then sewing the pieces together. The floors are usually covered in small scraps of thread and cloth by the end of the day. Our team lives mostly nearby, so it feels like a local family business more than anything else. We don’t have a big sign or anything, just the address that people follow to find us. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, so we just take a break and sit outside for a bit until it comes back on. We handle a lot of local orders and some that go further away, but everything is finished right here in this building. It’s honest work and we try to do it right without making a big fuss about it. The road outside gets dusty when the trucks go by, but inside we just focus on the needles and the thread. It is a steady way to spend the day.
