Velmurugan Exports

Our place is right on Palladam Road, situated near Murugan Mills. It’s a busy stretch of road with lots of trucks and heavy vehicles passing by all the time. Being near the mills means there is always a lot of activity in the air. We have a yard where we load and unload the goods. It’s often dusty, and the sun beats down on the corrugated roof of our warehouse. We spend most of our time out there or in the small office room near the front. We deal with exports, so there’s a lot of counting and checking involved. It’s not a glamorous job. We wear old clothes because things get dirty fast. The sound of the machines from Murugan Mills is like background music for us. We’ve got a small crew of people who have been with us for a while. We don't have a fancy entrance or a lobby. People just pull up to the gate and we start working. Sometimes we have to work late when a shipment is due, and the road gets a bit quieter then. We just keep our heads down and do the work. The address is easy to find because everyone knows where the mills are. It’s a practical, hardworking environment. We don't have time for anything that isn't necessary for the job.
