Cotton Park Clothings

Our shop, Cotton Park Clothings, is over at S. F. No. 712- A in E. B. Nagar. We are right on the 60 Feet Road, which stays pretty active throughout the day. If you are near the Women's College in Velliankadu, you are basically right there. It is a decent-sized space where we keep all our supplies and the few sewing machines we use. The light is actually quite good in the mornings because of the way the building faces. We spend a lot of time just cutting and stitching different garments. It is not a glamorous job, but we enjoy the process of seeing something come together from raw cloth. Being near the college means there are always people walking by, which gives the area a nice feel. We don't spend money on fancy advertisements or shiny signs. We just have our name on the door and we do our work. Most of the people who come to see us are locals who know where we are located. We keep things informal here. If the door is open, it means we are working. Sometimes it’s a bit cluttered with half-finished projects and fabric scraps, but that is just a sign that we have plenty to do. It’s a straightforward business in a good part of Velliankadu. We just stick to what we know, which is working with cotton and trying to stay busy. It works for us.
