Mahim Garments

Mahim Garments is located at No. 360/2h in Balaji Nagar. We are right near the RTO Office on Nochipalayam Road, which is a very busy spot. Being near the RTO Office means there is always a crowd outside and plenty of noise from the vehicles. We have the sewing machines running most of the day, so it’s never really quiet inside either. The shop isn't anything special to look at from the outside, just a regular building with our name on it. We spend a lot of time cutting fabric and checking the stitching on the garments we make. It’s hard work and the lighting isn't always the best, but we get it done. The road outside, Nochipalayam Road, gets quite dusty during the dry season, so we have to wipe down the tables pretty often. We are just a local bunch of people working here. There isn't a fancy reception area or anyone in a suit. Most of the time, we are just in our work clothes, covered in bits of thread. We’ve been in Balaji Nagar for a bit now and we like being close to the main activity of the area. It makes it easier for people to find us, even if the traffic is a bit much sometimes. We just focus on the garments and making sure everything is packed right. It's a simple, honest day of work for everyone here. We keep it practical and move along.
