Our place is located at No. 4/87-3 on Thiruppuran Thottam, right along the Karuppagounden Palayam Road. It’s near the Veerapandi Post Office, which is how most people find us. Sapphire Clothing Company India Pvt. Ltd. sounds like a big name, but we’re just a bunch of people working in a building surrounded by trees and some open fields. It’s a bit out of the way, which we actually like because it’s peaceful compared to the city. We do a lot of garment work here, mostly cutting fabric and getting things ready for the next stage of production. The road outside can get a bit dusty when the wind picks up. Inside, it’s mostly the sound of the big fans and people chatting while they work. We have a routine that we stick to every day. It starts early in the morning before it gets too hot to work comfortably. We don't have any corporate offices or big meeting rooms. We just have a large floor space where all the action happens. Sometimes the delivery trucks have trouble with the sharp turn on the road, but we usually go out to help them navigate. It’s been our home base for a while now. We just focus on the clothes and making sure we don't make mistakes with the sizes. It’s honest work and we’re glad to be doing it here in Veerapandi. We keep a small garden in the back during the rainy season to look at.
