K. N. Knit Garments

We are situated in the Vazhga Valamudan Building, which is No. 4/619 at the Veerapandi Pirivu on Palladam Road. It is a very busy road with lots of trucks and buses passing by all day and night. The building is easy to spot once you get to the junction. We have our knitting units set up inside. The sound of the needles clicking is constant. It is a bit of a maze inside with all the rolls of fabric sitting around. We have workers who come in from the nearby villages. They are good people who work hard. We provide a small space for them to eat their lunch. The office is just a small room in the corner with a wooden desk and a couple of chairs. We don't use much air conditioning, mostly just big ceiling fans. Sometimes the dust from the knitting gets everywhere, so we are always dusting things off. We don't have a website or anything like that. Most people just know we are here because of the location on Palladam Road. We take orders and we finish them as fast as we can. It is a straightforward business without any hidden extras. We just do the work we know how to do and try to stay on schedule. The noise of the traffic outside is something we just got used to over time. It is part of the job here.
