Sri Nirmala Garments

Sri Nirmala Garments is located at No. 9 Valliammai Nagar, specifically on 1st Street. We’re just off Kangayam Road, which stays pretty crowded most of the time. It’s a small space where we keep all the fabrics and the sewing setups. There are usually stacks of cloth piled up in the corners because there’s never enough room for everything. We spend our days mostly at the machines or measuring out material. It isn't a big showroom with bright lights. It’s more of a place where people come when they need something specific made or fixed. The street is narrow, so parking can be a bit of a headache sometimes, but the regulars know where to tuck their bikes. We’ve been here long enough that the neighbors all know us by name. It gets warm inside when all the irons are going at once, so we usually keep the front door propped open for a bit of air. You might see some loose threads on the floor or a few scraps of leftover fabric, but that’s just part of the job. We don’t bother with much decoration. The focus is always on the garments on the table. It’s just us here working through the pile of orders every day. If you are walking down 1st Street, you will probably hear the hum of the stitching machines as you pass by our door. We just try to finish the work we have and keep the shop running.
