Veera Garments

Veera Garments is located at Door No. 25 in Venkateswara Nagar. We are part of the Valayankadu South area. It’s a place where a lot of garment work happens. You can hear the hum of machines from several buildings on this street. Our shop is pretty straightforward. We have a front area where we keep some finished samples and a back area where the actual sewing is done. It’s usually quite warm inside because of the irons and the machines running all day. We have some ceiling fans that help, but they mostly just move the warm air around. The floors are concrete and we try to sweep them every evening, though there's always some lint left behind. We don't have a website or any fancy marketing stuff. Most of our work comes from people who know us or walk by and see the sign. We spend our days checking the stitching and making sure the buttons are on tight. If we make a mistake, we unpick it and start over. It’s honest work. Sometimes the neighbors come by just to chat for a minute while they’re out running errands. We like being part of this community. It’s not a quiet job, and the hours can be long when we have a big order to finish, but we just get on with it. Every day is pretty much the same routine.
