Hk Textiles is located at No. 5/4 in Suvasybramani Nagar, which is part of the Valayangadu area. It’s a pretty standard textile setup. We have rolls of cloth stacked up against the walls and a big cutting table in the middle of the room. The floor is concrete and we’ve had to patch it a few times over the years. We aren't trying to be fancy here; we just want to get the textiles sorted and sent out to whoever needs them. Valayangadu is a busy place for this kind of work, so we fit right in with the other shops around us. Most mornings start with us moving stock around to make space for new arrivals. It’s a lot of heavy lifting, to be honest. We have a couple of fans that stay on all day to keep the air moving, though it still gets quite warm in the summer months. People usually just drop by to check on their orders or to see what kind of fabrics we’ve got in that week. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us doing the work, day in and day out. Sometimes we lose a pen or a measuring tape in the piles of cloth, but we usually find them eventually. It’s just a regular local business trying to keep things simple and steady for everyone involved in the process. We finish up late most nights.
