V. T. M. Garments

You can find V. T. M. Garments over at No. 67 in the Karuppa Gounder Layout. We are tucked away on 4th Street in the New Ramakrishnapuram area. It’s a typical neighborhood where a lot of garment work happens, so there is always a bit of noise from the stitching machines throughout the day. We have been operating from this specific layout for some time now. The street can be a little tight when trucks come in to drop off fabric or pick up finished bundles, but we manage just fine. It’s a local operation through and through. The people working here are mostly from around this part of town, and we all just show up and do the work. There isn’t a lobby or a receptionist greeting you at the door. You usually just walk in and see everyone busy at their stations. We handle various types of clothing items depending on what’s needed. The layout itself is easy to get lost in if you don’t know your way around 4th Street, but once you find number 67, you’ll see we are just a regular shop doing our thing. We don’t try to be anything we aren’t. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but that doesn’t really matter when we have so many orders to get through every week. It’s a humble place, but it keeps us busy and the machines running.
