Spencer Apparel Inc.

Spencer Apparel Inc. is located at No. 2/290 Spencer Garden. This is on Uthukuli Road over in S. Periyapalayam P. O. It is a bit of a drive from the main town center, but it is a good location for our work. The area is called Spencer Garden, but it is mostly just buildings and some trees here and there. We have a decent-sized space where we handle all the apparel. Most of the day is spent with the sound of sewing machines or people talking over the tables. We are not a giant corporation with fancy lobbies. It is just a functional building where we get our work done. The mail comes through the S. Periyapalayam post office nearby. We have our routines, like starting early before it gets too hot and taking a break when the sun is highest. Sometimes the delivery trucks have a bit of trouble finding the exact gate, so we end up standing out on the road to wave them in. It is just a normal workplace with people who have been doing this for years. We don't use any big words to describe what we do. We just make clothes and make sure they are sent out to the right places. It is a lot of repetitive work, but we find our rhythm and stick to it every day. We don't really have a big story to tell, just the daily work we do here.
