This place is located at No. 3 Sidco Harvey Road. It's an industrial area, so there is always noise from trucks and other factories nearby. We do garment exports here. Most of our day is spent looking at boxes and stacks of clothes. It is a big operation but we try to keep things simple. The office is tucked away in the corner of the building. We have a lot of people working on the floor, and it stays pretty warm in the afternoons. Everyone knows the routine by now. We get the fabric in, it gets processed, and then it goes out the door. We don't have a big fancy lobby or anything like that. It's a working space. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just wait it out or use the generator. It’s part of living and working in this area. We’ve been at this address for several years. The walls could use a new coat of paint, but we are more focused on getting the orders out on time. Managing exports means a lot of paperwork and phone calls to people in different time zones. It can get stressful when a deadline is close. We just take it one day at a time. The tea stall down the street is where most of us head during the break. That’s pretty much the life here at Topex Garment Exports India Pvt. Ltd. It is hard work but we manage it.
