Tom N Jerry India Apparel Sourcing Co. is located over at 21 Sellammal Colony, specifically on 4th Street in Bharathi Dasan Nagar. It’s a quiet enough spot compared to the main roads, but we stay busy with all the sourcing work. Usually, our days are filled with calling different suppliers and checking on how the orders are moving along. Since we do sourcing, we have to keep track of a lot of different things at once. It’s mostly about making sure the right clothes get to the right people without too many problems. Sometimes the weather makes things difficult or the traffic in the colony gets blocked up when trucks come through. We’ve been at this address for a bit and the neighbors know us. It’s a simple setup with a couple of desks and a lot of samples lying around everywhere. You might see stacks of shirts or trousers piled up while we check the stitching. We don't have a big sign or anything, just the work we do every day. If you walk down 4th street, you’ll find us easily enough. We spend a lot of time on the phone or looking at fabric swatches under the light. It’s just how the business goes here. We try to keep things moving so nobody is waiting too long for their stuff to arrive from the factories.
