Thatchna Garments

Down at No. 141/2 on Sevandanpalayam Road in the Chandrapuram area of Tirupur, you will find our workplace. Thatchna Garments is just one of many shops in this area, but we have our own way of doing things. The road outside is usually full of bikes and the occasional truck carrying bales of cotton. Inside, it is mostly the sound of sewing machines and people talking over the noise. We have been at this address for several years now. The building is a bit cramped because we have to fit in the cutting tables and all the machines, plus the finished goods waiting to be shipped. It’s not the cleanest place, as there is always lint in the air and scraps of fabric on the floor. We don't have a receptionist or a lobby. If you walk in, you are basically right in the middle of the workspace. We just try to get the orders done on time without too much fuss. Tirupur is a place that never really sleeps, and we are right there in the middle of it on Sevandanpalayam Road. It’s just us, some machines, and a lot of work to get through every week. We don't try to be anything we aren't, just a local garment shop.
