Fancy Knits (india) Pvt. Ltd.

Out here on Uthukuli Road in Tirupur, we have our place called Fancy Knits (india) Pvt. Ltd. We are situated at 29 Ngr Nagar, in the Anaikadu area, and we call the site Fancy Garden. It sounds a bit more peaceful than it actually is, because the knitting machines make quite a bit of noise once they get started in the morning. Tirupur is famous for this kind of work, so we are just one of many units in the area doing our part. We focus on the knitting side of things, turning yarn into fabric day after day. The heat in the factory can get a bit much during the summer months, but we have big fans to keep the air moving. Our staff mostly comes from the nearby neighborhoods. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there; we just want to make sure the quality of the knit is decent enough for the people buying it. The yard has some trees which is why we named it the way we did. It’s a bit of a walk from the main road, but most of our suppliers know the way by heart. We spend our time checking the tension on the machines and making sure the rolls of cloth are stored properly. It’s straightforward work. We don't do much marketing, we just rely on the work itself to keep the orders coming in from the regulars who know us.
