Senthil Clothing Company

We’re Senthil Clothing Company, and we operate out of No. 5 on Aranmani Pudur 1st Street. The area is called Nadu Pangu Thottom. It’s a quiet little pocket compared to the main roads around here. We’ve got a small space where we handle all our clothing orders. It’s mostly just a few of us working together. We don't have a big corporate office with fancy chairs. We use what we have, which is mostly old wooden tables and some sturdy stools. The street outside is narrow, so when a truck comes to pick up the clothes, it usually blocks the whole way for a few minutes. Our neighbors are used to it by now. We spend our mornings sorting through fabrics and our afternoons packing things up. It’s repetitive work, but we don’t mind it much. We have a small radio that we keep on for some background noise, otherwise it’s just the sound of the scissors and the sewing machines. We don't really have a grand plan for the future or anything. We just want to keep doing what we're doing and make sure the clothes we send out are okay. Sometimes we make mistakes, like forgetting a label or getting a size wrong, but we always try to fix it. It’s just us doing our best in Nadu Pangu Thottom. We've been at this for a while and don't see that changing soon.
