Aruljothi Knits

Aruljothi Knits is located at No. 24 A 1 in Thilagar Nagar. We are right near Anupparpalayam, which is a place known for its small industries. We’ve been here for a good while, and our shop is pretty much what you’d expect from a local knitting unit. The machines are old but they still run well enough if you treat them right. We spend our time monitoring the knitting process and making sure the yarn doesn't get tangled. It’s a noisy environment, but you stop noticing the clatter after the first hour. We aren't a massive factory with thousands of workers. It’s just a small group of us making sure the production keeps moving. We don't have any fancy brochures or a marketing team. Most of our work comes from local contacts who need knitting work done. We spend a lot of time on our feet, checking the rows and fixing any dropped stitches. It’s physical work and it can be tiring when the orders are big. We don't have a lot of space, so once something is finished, we try to get it out the door as fast as possible to make room for the next batch. Sometimes we run out of a certain color of yarn and have to wait for the supplier to drop by. We just take it as it comes and try to do a decent job every day.
