Nero Garments

Nero Garments is based at 27-c Ponnachiamman Nagar, inside the K. G. Compound over in Thennampalayam. It’s a bit of an industrial area, so there’s always the sound of machinery and trucks moving around. Our space is functional more than anything else. We have rows of sewing machines and stacks of fabric piled up near the walls. It’s not a fancy showroom where everything is polished and perfect. Most days we are just busy trying to keep up with the orders and making sure the machines are running right. The heat can get a bit much in the middle of the day, but we just keep the fans going and carry on. We are a small team, and most of us have been working together for a long time. We don't have any big corporate goals; we just want to make clothes that people can actually use. Sometimes the thread tangles or a machine breaks down, and we have to stop and fix it ourselves. That’s just part of the daily routine here in the compound. People in Thennampalayam know where to find us if they need something done. We don't do much in the way of promotion. We just rely on the work we do every day to speak for itself. It’s a simple setup, and we’re just glad to be working and keeping the shop open for another day.
