About The Cotton Classic Apparels – Fashion & Trends in Tiruppur
We operate out of No. 43 Shermiyan Sahib Street. It’s one of those narrow streets where you have to be careful when a bike passes by. Our place is basically a big room filled with rolls of cotton fabric and cutting tables. We focus on making clothes that people can actually wear every day. There’s nothing too complicated about what we do. We take the fabric, cut it, and sew it together. The iron is always hot and there’s a pile of scraps in the corner that we clear out once a week. The lighting isn't the best, but we’ve got enough lamps over the workstations. Most of the people working here live nearby, so they just walk in every morning. We don't have a big fancy sign outside, just the door and the sound of sewing machines. It can get a bit dusty with all the cotton thread flying around, so we try to keep the fans going to move the air. Sometimes we have tea brought in from the stall down the street, and we take a ten-minute break to just breathe. It’s a small business, and we handle everything ourselves from the moment the fabric arrives until the finished shirts are packed into plastic bags. We aren't trying to be some global brand, just a steady shop on a quiet street. It’s how we’ve always done it and it works for us.
