Texwinners Creation

Texwinners Creation is situated at No. 12/13 on Pillayar Koil Street, right near Omsakthi Koil Street. It is a lively area with people coming and going from the temple and the nearby shops. Our place is basically a garment unit where we do a lot of the stitching and cutting. It is not a large factory, just a decent-sized space where we have our machines set up. The floors are concrete and we have big windows that let in some light, though we mostly rely on the overhead tubes. We make different kinds of apparel depending on what the current orders are. Sometimes it is shirts, other times it might be something else. We don't really have a showroom; it is more of a production spot. You will see piles of fabric being moved around and the sound of sewing machines is pretty constant from morning until we close up in the evening. We try to keep things moving on schedule, but sometimes machines break down or fabrics arrive late, which is just how it goes. The staff here are mostly locals who have been sewing for years. We don't use any fancy language to describe what we do. We just take the fabric, cut it according to the patterns, and sew it together. It’s honest work and we’ve been at this location for a good while now.
