You can find Tefco Clothing Private Limited on the first floor of 217/81A(3). We are located on Radhakrishna Street, right off the Rakkiyapalayam Main Road in Ammapalayam. This is in Tirupur, with the pin code 641652. Being on the first floor means we have to carry everything up and down the stairs, which can be a bit of a workout during the day. The street outside is usually full of parked bikes and people going to the other workshops nearby. We have a modest setup here. It is mostly sewing machines and a few desks for the paperwork. The walls are a bit plain and could probably use a new coat of paint, but we are too busy to worry about that. We focus on making clothes. The rhythm of the machines is the main sound we hear all day long. Sometimes we talk over the noise, but mostly everyone just focuses on their own station. It is a local business and we know the other shop owners on the street. We get our tea from the stall at the corner every morning. It is not a high-end fashion studio, just a regular place in Ammapalayam where clothes get made. We take the fabric in, we cut it, we sew it, and then it goes out in bags. That is basically our whole day from start to finish.
