Swathi Sree Fashions

You can find us on 5th Street in the Kpn Colony area. We’ve been running Swathi Sree Fashions from this exact spot on K. P. S. Road for quite some time now. It’s very much a local neighborhood business. We mostly spend our time dealing with clothing and making sure things get sewn properly. The sewing machines are usually humming along all day long. It can get a bit loud in the workroom when everyone is busy at the same time. We have a few workers who have been with us for many years. The space feels a bit cramped because we have rolls of fabric and half-finished shirts hanging almost everywhere. We don't have a fancy window display with mannequins. People in the colony just know we are here and what we do. It’s a lot of hands-on work every day. We check the stitching ourselves before anything goes out. Sometimes a machine breaks down or we run out of a specific color of thread, and we just have to figure it out. That's just part of the daily routine. The street outside is usually busy with people walking to the main road. We open up early and stay until the day's work is finally finished. It’s definitely not a corporate office environment. It's just a workshop where real things get made by hand. We drink a lot of tea to keep our energy up. We know most of the people who walk past our door. It’s a friendly and simple place. We try to get the orders done on time.
