Sun Gaarments

Sun Gaarments is over at 17/3 Annapurna Layout. It’s tucked away a bit near Kongu Main Road, which makes it a little quieter than the main drag. We like it that way because it gives us some room to breathe. The building isn't anything special to look at, just a regular structure with a lot of windows to let the breeze in. We spend most of our time at the cutting tables or checking the stitching on the finished pieces. The floors are concrete and they stay cool, which is nice when the Tiruppur heat starts to get bad in the middle of the year. There’s a small area where we keep the finished stock, and it smells like new cotton in there. Most of the staff live nearby, so there is a lot of local talk during the lunch break. We usually share food and talk about the families or what’s happening in the news. It’s a relaxed atmosphere, mostly. We don’t rush unless there’s a big deadline, but even then, we try to keep things steady. The machines are old but they work fine if you treat them right and oil them once a week. 17/3 is a good spot for us. It’s easy for the delivery vans to find us without getting stuck in the really bad traffic downtown. We just do our thing every day.
