Orange Knit Creations

Orange Knit Creations is situated at No. 28- Knp Subramaniam Nagar, right on Pudur Road. If you know the area, it’s not hard to find. We focus mostly on knitted items. It’s a different kind of process compared to regular cloth. The machines have a specific sound to them, a sort of steady rhythm. We’ve got a few different types of knitting machines packed into the workspace. It’s a bit tight, but we make it work. Most of the people working here live nearby. We’ve been on Pudur Road for a while now. The humidity sometimes messes with the yarn, so we have to be careful about how we store everything. We don't do anything fancy with our branding. We just put the tags on and get the stuff shipped out. Sometimes we experiment with different patterns just to see what happens. Not everything works out, but that’s okay. We just unravel it and try again. It’s a practical way to run a business. We don't have a big front office or a receptionist. If you walk in, you’re likely to see someone actually working on a machine. We like it that way. It’s honest work. We stay busy, and as long as the orders keep coming, we’re happy to keep the machines running. It gets a bit hot in the afternoons, so we usually take a break for some cold water and a bit of a rest.
