D. P. K. Garments

We are located at No. 2/66 on Pudur Road, right in Subramaniam Nagar. It’s a decent-sized spot for D. P. K. Garments. The building isn't anything fancy, just a plain structure where we can get our work done. Most days, you’ll find the sewing machines running and people busy with different tasks. There’s always a pile of scrap fabric in the corner and thread reels sitting on every available surface. The lighting is okay, but we use extra lamps when we’re doing the fine work. It gets pretty warm in here when all the machines are going at once. We usually have the doors open to let some air in. The street outside isn't too busy, which is nice compared to the main town area. We’ve been at this location for a while now. The team is small, mostly people from the nearby neighborhood who have been with us for years. We don't use any high-tech systems to track things; we mostly just use notebooks and our own memories. It’s a practical way of doing things. Sometimes a machine breaks down and we have to spend the afternoon fixing it ourselves. It’s just part of the daily grind. We don't make a big fuss about things, we just focus on the garments and getting them finished and sent out.
