Subbash Garments

Our place, Subbash Garments, is located at # 11 Dhundukadu Extn. in Old Ramakrishna Puram. It is an older part of town, which we actually like quite a bit. The building we are in has been standing there for a long time. We have set up our sewing machines in a way that uses the natural light coming in from the big windows. It is a very basic workshop. We do not have any fancy furniture or a big showroom for people to visit. Most of the floor space is taken up by the large cutting tables and the metal racks where we hang up the finished pieces. We do a lot of the heavy work ourselves, along with a few helpers who live nearby in the neighborhood. It is a steady pace of work here. We do not like to rush things too much because we want to make sure the seams are straight and the quality is okay. Sometimes we have to stay late if a big order needs to go out the next morning, but usually, we are done by the evening. The street outside is usually quiet, except for when the delivery trucks come by. Old Ramakrishna Puram is a good place for a garment business like ours. We know most of the other shop owners on the street. We do not spend money on ads. Most of our work comes from people who have known us for years. It is just honest work in a simple building at number 11.
