Studio Knits

You will find Studio Knits over at No 23 Ramiah Colony, specifically on 3rd Street. It’s a decent neighborhood to be in, though it gets a bit busy during the morning rush. We have been working out of this spot for a long time. It isn't a massive factory or anything polished. It is just a place where we have our knitting machines set up and where we spend our days. The sound of the machines is something you get used to after a while, though it can be a bit much for people just visiting. We spend most of our time checking the yarn and making sure the patterns are coming out right. There are always bits of thread on the floor no matter how many times we sweep it up during the day. That is just the nature of the work we do here. No 23 is a solid building, and we have made it our own over the years. We don't have a fancy reception area or anyone to answer the phones with a scripted greeting. If the phone rings, one of us just wipes our hands and picks it up. Most of our neighbors in Ramiah Colony know us by now. We just focus on the knitting and getting the orders ready for whenever they are needed. It is practical work and it keeps us busy from morning until evening. We like being on 3rd Street; it feels like the right place.
