Star Way Garments

Our place is located over at 14 Mgr Nagar 4th Street, right off PN Road. It’s a busy area and the noise from the traffic usually starts before we even get the shutters up. Star Way Garments is basically just a small floor where we have the machines set up. We started with just two people and now there are a few more, but it still feels crowded. The workers come in around nine and the sound of the stitching fills up the room all day. We mostly deal with local orders and whatever comes our way from the bigger shops. PN Road is always jammed with lorries, so getting our fabric delivered can be a bit of a headache sometimes. We just stack the rolls wherever they fit. The lights flickered for a while last week but we got it fixed finally. There’s no big office here, just a desk in the corner with a lot of papers and some old samples hanging on the wall. We don't do much advertising because there isn't really time for it. Usually, we are just focused on finishing the batch that’s due by the end of the week. Lunch is usually eaten together while the machines are turned off for a bit of quiet. It’s honest work and we’ve been doing it for enough years that we don’t think about it much. It gets tiring but we like it.
